The Kane Chronicles
The Kane Chronicles is a complete book series written by Rick Riordan based on the ancient Egyptian gods. The three books include some of the main gods like Ra, Horus, Osiris, Isis (Not Aset), Nut, and Geb. Through out the book the characters are even referred to as being Horus and other gods. Books like these bring back the worshiping of the gods and their culture. They also reference many facts about Modern Egypt.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians
The Percy Jackson series is another book series written by Rick Riordan, but is mainly focused on the Greek gods. All though we are talking about Egypt, it is important to now that all the gods were often connected or some were like Aset. She was now as Isis in the Greek world. Even though they are different "religions" they are often times based off of the same principles.
The Heroes of Olympus
The Heroes of Olympus is another book series by Rick Riordan, but the main reason for putting it in this is the fact that it represents cross overs and has three Greek god related characters and three Roman god related characters. This shows that there really can be the same gods, but with different names all throughout the different religions.
